Skill Level
- Intro lesson prerequisite
- Comfortable swimming in deep water
- Past experience with water-sports (windsurfing, wake boarding, water skiing, tubing) a definite asset
What to bring
- Sunglasses and hat (sun can be in your eyes when flying the kite)
- Warm clothing (is often colder at the exposed beach then in town)
- Water shoes (aqua-socks) if you have them.
- Water and a snack
- Wetsuit (if you have one)
What is provided with lesson
- All kite gear (appropriate sized kites, bar and lines, harness, board)
- Cold water gear (booties, wetsuit)

Dependent on wind and weather conditions
- Lake St.Clair (Belle River West Beach, Lighthouse Cove, Mitchell’s Bay)
- Lake Erie (Cedar Beach – Kingsville, SeaCliff Beach – Leamington)
End Goal: Safely launch and land your kite at your local riding spot when working on your riding skills independently
Duration
2 hours (rate of $100/hr) in case lesson is shortened or student wants more time on the water due to perfect conditions.
